Going North
01:44
|

Going north
is just a thought
ive had this year
the icy cool air
escaping into the atmosphere
I'll go with you
but you will never return
never return to the day to day
never again work for the dead at heart
Freedom from you is freedom for me
Freedom for me is an icy cool pleasure
I'll be gone
for many months
Forget about me
Finding myself
Escaping myself
Until I return
I'll be back
or then again
Maybe not

Open The Gate

I was a sailor
You were a friend
We would be together
Until the end
Fate would have it different
I don't really care
Even though your standing
I wouldn't stare
In the closet
There you stood
You lost your marbles
I knew you would
That was it
The game was over
We will never
Be together
When you want her
Things seem great
Then you go and
Open the gate
Some should stay
Shut
Its not me
Its surly you
I cant believe
Some things you do
Like the day
You killed the babies
You had said
They had gone crazy
There you stood
Blood on your hands
and sadly
A smile on your face
That was it
The game was over
We will never
Be together
When you want her
Things seem great
Then you go and
Open the gate
Some should stay
Shut

December Night
03:49
|
|||
Have you ever heard the walrus roar.
Just sheltering his new born cubs.
From the mighty polar bear.
His blubbery flesh begins to tear.
He never even stood a chance.
Taken by complete surprise.
You can hear the cubs begin to howl.
That bear might as well of killed them too.
That was the night, the world lost it's light.
That was the night, but he never lost the fight.
Oh, that dreadful cold December night.
The world lost its light.
This world has never been the same
But the magic is not gone
Keep on plain those old tunes
And never forget his words
Keep on singing
for peace and love
you might forget
That the walrus is gone
That was the night, the world lost it's light.
That was the night, but he never lost the fight.
Oh, that dreadful cold December night.
The world lost its light.

Old Friend
02:28
|
|||
I cant remember your face
Think I saw you in a crowed place
Havent even seen you since we were kids
What would I even say
Old Friend
Where have you been
My how youve changed
I dont know you anymore
Old Friend
Where have you gone
Gone forever
Just a memory
Remember the time
We stayed up all night
Till the morning light
Why have I held on
All of these years
Thinking you
would be the same
Old Friend
Where have you been
My how youve changed
I dont know you anymore
Old Friend
Where have you gone
Gone forever
Just a memory

Ocean
01:24
|
|||
Sitting in the sand
sea breeze on my skin
blowing through my soul
Not thinking anything
Then the tide rises
waves come in
and swallow me whole
It's a sad sad story
Drifting out to sea
just cruising along
on a whale bigger than the
taj mahal
reach our destination
north of the north pole
say goodbye to that whale
and leave the great sea
On the north pole
made friends with some reindeer
they said they could fly
then they flew real high
I was all alone
got a chill in my bone
I was ready to head home
But I was all alone
Then a small fish in the ice
asked me if id like some advice
I told him not to bother
Its not like he was my father
Fish said to me
He said dont go dont leave
He said I'll miss you so
And I got up and walked away
All the way home
